Startup Visa: IRCC just asked for more documents.

hey All,

So i just received an email this morning asking for more documents and i am confused with a few:

Police Certificate: OK - this is fine.

Please provide proof of working history such as employment letter and paystubs.- I am the Owner of the company and i draw the profit that goes directly in my personal account. I can get a letter on my company letter head along with documents like tax returns etc. Or are they referring to previous job letters too? i gave them all anyway. I am just not sure what exactly are they wanting here. Because, i have a company in US and Pakistan - i already hold a work permit under SUV Program but couldn't travel due to covid this year.

They are also asking for a business plan, which i already submitted not sure, if they want a new one?

I understand your frustration. At times, IRCC just acts a bit silly.
Anyway, this might mean that they are not 100% convinced of the authenticity of your potential business. It could mean they are looking to do a peer review on your application, or maybe the IRCC agent for whatever reason was not competent enough to read all the existing documents in your application.

In any case, could you share the timeline for your application? ie when did you apply, get the AOR, and request for further documents? I'm a SUV applicant too, though I haven't heard anything from IRCC regarding my application

PR Application - Jan 20 20
AOR Feb 10
Biometrics - Feb 13
ADR request - August 5 20
Medical Passed - August 6 20.

Pls would like to know when you did your medicals. Was it upfront or it was requested. Thanks

it was upfront. But my medical has expired now, i think when it's going to be in the final stages, they'd ask for medical again.
