Hello Everyone ,
Took My oath of citizenship couple of hours ago .. Process took a total of 30 mins.
There were 10 applicants including myself for the ceremony . During the Zoom call each one of us had an officer(who would verify your information and IDs) along with a Clerk and the judge.
After you take the oath you have to cut PR card in 4 pieces in front of your officer. Once all the formalities are done you have to email the officer signed Affirmation of Oath form .

Note: you will receive a phone call a day before the ceremony

ECAS still shows DM. Hope other August applicants have their oath soon.

Yes I also completed Oath on 22nd July 2020 at 9 am but still citizenship certificate not received. On contact I was told that certificate has been handed over to Canada Post on 29th but nothing received so far.

Omg I am so tired my test date was scheduled on March 28 and it got cancelled due to cOvid . I sent in application on August 08.2019 . My Indian passport s expiring soon don’t know what to do !!! Exhausted

One important question to those who just done with their Oath, Can I take the Oath at one province and immediately after taking Oath if I moved to another will they send my Citizenship Certificate to my New address.

You will have to convey to IRCC about your address change. I believe you can do it at the time of your ID verification with the ceremony clerk during the virtual ceremony and they might guide you better with the formalities of address change immediately after the oath ceremony to receive the certificate specially during the pandemic.

I haven’t gotten mine yet. Aug 1, 2019 applicant with Test and DM Jan 30th 2020. Scarborough. Waiting continues..

I haven’t gotten mine yet too. Application received on August 28, 2019. Test Completed on February 6, 2020. Decision made since March 16, 2020.

Did you guys try contacting IRCC using web form? I think we should request for an estimated timeline.

I did not contact them on the web form, but my husband called IRCC 2 weeks back as our PR cards are expiring in October. The agent advised us not to renew the PR cards if we have no plans of travelling outside Canada. He said we should receive the oath invitation before September. So we are just being hopeful.

Woah that's very encouraging. Hope we will all hear back from IRCC before September.
