My sharing (I think I've shared it briefly before):
Background: My documents arrived (here I mean signed for, and by courier) in late May and was supposed to be acknowledged (eventually) by early July but we all know the story here.
So I've had 3 phone conversations with WES's reps in June-July.
- The first guy I spoke with (early June) was very helpful, polite and patient, yet he couldn't give me anything concrete (still early huh).
- The second lady I spoke with (late June) was totally unhelpful and impatient and refused to give me any details (their progress and such)...
Then WES updated their notification page at some point in early July... yet 2 days after the pledged deadline my status was still on hold so I called them again.
- The third lady I spoke with (early July)... I was fortunate enough to have spoken with this nice rep who put me on hold during my call and escalated this to her supervisor right away. She came back and asked me to raise a web form while she's still on the line, so that she could acknowledge my form and forward it to her team leader (or something like that) right at the spot. She promised that my package would be dug/ fished out from the sea and my status would be updated on the same day... and it did.
It might have been luck, or that in fact is within their capabilities.
So... no harm to try ringing them up again (and again?) in hope of getting hold of a more proactive rep if you have the time (and call credits)...
I know my logical self would say NOOO!!! Stop calling them! Let them do their job in peace! But I also understand how nerve-racking it is during the endless wait so... it's all up to you. Just a sharing.
