Hello guys, I called MIFI today and found out my CSQ was FINALLY approved!!!!

My timeline:

CSQ application received: 14 Jan 2020
Credit charge and AOR: 25 Feb 2020
CSQ approval (over the phone): 30 July 2020

It's in the mail as we speak, hopefully, it'll show up in the mailbox by the end of the week

7 months of wait, hang in there everyone.
So happy for you! We have the same timeline. I will give them a call tomorrow. Thank you for the update

The spousal sponsorship application?
Yes this is for spousal sponsorship. Have you tried to link your application with the GCkey ?. Has all the status updated properly for biometric , sponsorship approval and so on ??.

In my case they are all just default status and its showing that nothing happened in the past 8 months since I applied

I’ve got SA since November 2019. Now, It’s the VO that needs to do its job. They were closed, but I heard they will be opened this month. Fingers crossed
make sure you send an email with CSQ attached to the VO , they tell you MIFI will send it but thats bullshit . my VO amman , i had to send the CSQ FIVE TIMES BY EMAIL after each one i call ircc in canada and say no its not on file.
so it took me two weeks and five emails then they finally put it on file in the VO
i sent 5 emails direct to the VO email address and two times via webform

Seems like they have really accelerated the process lately. I posted this in the Quebec 2020 outland thread, but for here as well I received a copy of the approved CSQ yesterday. Here's my timeline:
CSQ Application sent: January 24 2020
AOR: March 19
CSQ Approved: July 28
CSQ Received in mail: August 3

The VO that’s processing my application is currently closed. I heard it will be open this month, I’m just waiting.

The VO didn’t request the CSQ. My representative told me that IRCC sent it to them before they sent it to me. It’s ok to send it to the VO, but they already had it. Otherwise they would‘ve asked for it.
they didn't request mine too but still they didn't have it and they didn't care and when i emailed them the first time one week after i received my CSQ at home the replied that i should email it to them cause they dont have it , what am saying is i know its supposed to be sent to them automatically before you receive it but that is not the case , and my case was before COVID , so dont know about now if they will do it , just wanna tell you my experience maybe it will save you some time . best of luck

Thank you very much! Webform or e-mail, which one is best?
BOTH , my VO never replied to webforms , ircc canada will reply but my VO never did it even says 52 business days to reply , i had to send an email directly to them , you can find your VO email on ircc website . you have nothing to loose but the best thing you can do is to make sure they have it cause if not it will only cause you delays

Hey Guys I use to read this group, I am in a really bad situation. I applied the CSQ for my spouse on 9th December. Its applied by my lawyer. As per the post its received and signed. Now when we called MIDI they are saying that file is never uploaded to the system so either they misplaced it or its lost. They are asking to apply again saying they will process on priority not sure if thats true. anyone else in similar situation or heard of something like this then please let me know.
