SOWP extension and Covid

Applied in last aug for the foirst time..refused for my pay stubs.. second time applied in dec..refused in jan as officer wanted proofs of our traditional marriage..
My question is if the current COVID situation affecting the approval rates? Should I apply for him the third time or wait for the situation to be normal again?

You can apply but your husband is unlikely to be able to join you for a while due to travel restrictions. I would make sure you highlight any time you habe spent together since you got married as well of the proof of your traditional marriage.

We haven't got the opportunity to spend time together due to my studies and then i hot my work permit. We tried two times for his approval but got nothing. Now I was trying to go to back home and then COVID happened. But we were in relationship since 2011 and provided its proof while applying both the times

You can provide the proof that your spouse pgwp has been filed and you can apply for your sowp extension.
Even my sowp expires in July but my husband got his pgwp approval and I have just filed for my extension and awaiting for a response.

i have same situation and i called cic they told that you have to wait to get your PGWP and then your spouse can apply for extension.
please let me know how can i proceed when my PGWP is still in progress? i have skilled job and 3 pay stubs.

Can’t remember if you order GCMS notes but would make sure you address all the points about why you got refused. It is not a great thing that you haven’t visited each other since your wedding in December 2018. If you have proof of your visit that got cancelled I would include that in your application.

My sowp expires on September 30th , 2020 same as my wife’s study permit. She has applied for her PGWP and due to covid there’s no update on her pgwp application. Can I apply for my sowp extension with all proper docs and will I loose my status/ or can I still continue to work till sept 30th if it all there’s any rejection on my application with in expiration of my permit?

I got my sowp approved in December 2020. I didn’t wait for my wife’s pgwp as it’s getting delayed due to covid. applied for my sowp extension with her pgwp confirmation, employment letter, payslips and other supporting docs. As soon as she got her wp approval we uploaded the wp copy through web form.

I am in PGWP and my wife's SOWP is ending by 30th Apr 2021. I need to extend it as she works in NOC C category since Aug 2020 and I am in NOC A category with Employment letter and paystubs. Can someone please guide me to apply and get approved successfully?

And please share the timeline on SOWP extension application, Thanks a lot.
