Absolutely, lets see how they do it. One thing is confirmed that they are not in mood of delaying applications with pandemic excuse.

Just keep us updated here please, my AOR is 15 May and I wont be able to know where my file is because my lawyer is lazy as heck, she would not update me untill i have PPR and she is discouraging for ordering GCMS notes too. So I am just living in parallel universe of you guys :p
One doesn't need to involve the lawyer/consultant to request the GCMS notes and requesting it has not adverse impact.

Even my consultant refused to order GCMS notes. Am not sure why most of the consultants are reluctant to do this. I raised webform and I didnt tell my consultant about it.

Yes, see this practice a lot and without speculating their reasons you can be assured that request the GCMS file has no adverse impact on the processing of your application. Requesting the file in itself does not speed up or help things and likewise it does not hurt it either and for those who are in Canada can request their file on their own for free

Your AoR is May, and you have not even reached 3 months. Requesting GCMS notes is too premature. If you have a lawyer representing you, you should take your lawyer's advise. Lawyers will consider GCMS notes after 4-5 months have passed post AoR. Anything before that is just a waste of resources.

Also, if you decided to hire a professional go by what they advice instead of paying with your application. If you no longer need their services, you can remove them from your application (not advised though). If you unilaterally take decisions on your application when you have a lawyer representing you, that is a ground for them to withdraw representation.

The GCMS notes only help you when you your eligibility has started, which usually happens after 3-4 months post AoR.

@legalfalcon , i respect your seniority but these days they are doing things pretty fast, Most of the may AOR's have already cleared eligibility especially 1-10 May, my AOR 6 may and even my eligibility was passed on 30 July. They are pretty fast these days.

The eligibility is not passed, it is just recommended passed by an analyst or an assistant, which does not mean it is passed. The eligibility is passed only after the final determination by an officer and I have explained this in my previous post available at #3,201

The things did speed up for CEC applicants in the last 2 months since there were no FSW draws that happed between March -June. If you take into account the general trends, then 2-4 months post AOR it is. If you take exceptions, then some applicants even receive their PPR within 1-3 months.

However, what you decide to do is entirely your prerogative.

Do you think then, what was said by the IRCC on the phone was not entirely accurate; the information of " eligibility is passed" given was based on the analyst/assistant evaluation rather than the officer's approval?

It could be. Many people when they enquire by webform or over the phone, they are informed that it is passed, even though it is recommended passed by an assistant or an analyst. You will have to specifically ask them or rely on your GCMS notes.

Can there still be rejection, if it is passed my analyst? I mean have you seen any cases where eligibility was passed by analyst and still file was refused

From previous posts I saw regarding study permit, study permit extension, work permit and now PR process, I found from experts that helpline answers are reliable but not to be taken granted. Final decision on any application depends solely on Officer processing it. It doesn't mean that helpline officers are not authentic or misleading sometimes but fact remains that it all depends on main immigration officer's satisfaction. I wish you all the best.

In most cases if the recommendation by an analyst or an assistant is passed, then the officer will go ahead with the recommendation, but can also substitute its won decision, which can be different, though highly unlikely.

My AOR is 8 May 2020.
I had changes in my profile on 30th and 31 of July . Your action needed to application updated and submitted. It happened twice and now the application is in submitted state. I called IRCC today(3rd of Aug) just before sometime and my status is
Eligibility passed
Security passed
Criminality in process

In July Month I had ordered 2 webforms :
WebForm : July 10,2020
The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements
under the immigration program for which you have applied.

WebForm : July 24,2020
The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine
if you and your family members if applicable meet the eligibility requirements under the class
for which you have applied.

What can I conclude from these for my eligibility ? Is it passed/met/recommended pass/ Is it from program analyst or officer ?
Can you please help me to analyze my application from these.
I am quite confused about the wordings and updates.
