Travel restrictions - Going back to Canada with a Closed WP

Hi everyone! I'm getting confused with the travel restrictions and hope that someone can help.

I got an LMIA based Work Permit. The application was made inside Canada with the same employer I was working for. The whole process took way too long so I had to travel back to my home country to attend some personal matters while still WP processing. COVID happened and I got stuck here in my country but my closed WP was approved. It's valid for 2 years, starting the past April. I'm a Housekeeper Supervisor, the same position I held before.

Now the hotel I work for is back in business and I'm hoping to come back to work but would I be able to enter? I know people have been entering under IEC with their POE Letter and a valid job offer in any field but I've haven't heard of people with closed WP.

I have a copy of the Work Permit, my ETA, and the LMIA valid job offer. Would I be able to get in? Do I need a more recent job offer or any additional document such as a letter from my employer?

I don't think you should have any issues returning. Might be a good idea to carry a letter from your employer stating that they have reopened and need you back.

One more thing - make sure you are able to show your 14 day quarantine plan.
