Alway keep in mind that the CICNEWS site has no association at all with IRCC and is operated by the same company that operates this forum.

Sure use CICNEWs same as this forum as one of many information sources but Always refer to the official IRCC website for the latest official guidelines.

I'm new in this forum
I have applied for online PRTD application on july 03 but I havent heard anything from IRCC yet. Is there anyone who applied in july first week who got approval or still waiting to get approval

This is so messed up , Loa is linked to itinerary that we send them. So yes if ticket is expired or canceled you need to send new one to get loa

I have applied on July 3 but from india, did you got any approval??

You are part of a small amount of people who accidentally received virtual landing because CIC thought you were in Canada. They now ask people to confirm that they are in Canada before sending the virtual landing email. RO still applies to you but you only received your PR in June/July so you are still well within meeting your RO. All you can do is wait. Have you provides proof of your flight?

so what will be the next step I have already applied for online PRTD and I havent booked my flight because I'm not able to get any flights

Also there are two expiry dates when I have received the letter. In the letter it mentions that this letter is valid till one year and in my cic account it says this is valid till oct so not sure which one to follow
What if I'm not able to travel before oct, do i have to apply for the extension???

Unsure since I can’t see the letter. As I previously said you got the inland PR confirmation because CIC thought you were in Canada so this isn’t a common situation.

Cool, also one more question I can see there are lots of people asking about the 30 day period after getting approval for PRTD. What if someone exceeds the 30 day period and not able to get the tickets and could not fly in that period. Can they travel afterwards and send the itinerary to IRCC after 30 days and get the LOA
