you have to have an US address in it. Give some friend's address within 50 miles of your office location. Or just leave your old address as it is.

I am still in the US waiting for visa approval. Been here for about 3 weeks. My employer chose to do the slowest Fedex so had to literally wait all week for just the package to reach USCIS. Got receipt notice last Friday. Have filed in Premium. Still waiting on approval.

Would any of you know how H1 Transfer works? Like Extension of Stay, do we have to be in the US to during H1b transfer application or can it be done from outside country?

With current situation on not knowing when consulates will open and when appointments will be available for stamping, one should get the extension approved while being in status continuously so that I94 is also extended which doesnt stop from working.
After filing you dont need to stay in US but you should maintain status current by entering US every few weeks so that uscis extends your I94 while approving the petition.

You have to be within US similar to extension. Any time you need i94 attached at the bottom your petition, you should be inside USA while filing. If you are outside, you'll get approved only in consular mode which would require stamp to re-enter.

I my current i94 expires in a week (Aug 5). The newly approved I797 has the extended i94. Once i get the original petition I797, can i travel to US after Aug 5th with the Original I797 alone but expired stamp in passport ?

You have to also tell when you exited US and did you travel outside of the continent?

Can someone here confirm that I will be able to move my stuff in a U-Haul across the border.? Will there be any issue in it. Reading all the posts in this forum I understand that daily commuting is not an issue if you have H1B stamped.

My friend was able to cross the border with 26 ft truck in April 2020. I am planning to do the same on last week of Aug-2020. I don't see any issues with the size of truck
