Hello members,
I am new to this forum.
I just need to clear my doubt regarding IELTS expiry.
I have an active EE profile with IELTS which was valid until 27th July 2020 (Exam date: 28th July 2018). Ideally, my profile should have been deemed ineligible due to expired IELTS which is not the current scenario. I did check my profile, the points for language remains the same.
My question here is, have IRCC changed any rules regarding IELTS expiry due to COVID-19 pandemic ???
Is there any information or news regarding IRCC extending the validity of IELTS??
Well, i currently reside in Mumbai, IN where IELTS centres are not functional at this moment.
Have any other members experienced this scenario? or is this a system glitch for IRCC?

Thanks,
Lids :)

Hello Seniors,
I'm still stuck here with IELTS validity. It's been almost 11 days since my IELTS have expired and i still haven't received any email nor any message in my IRCC account. My language points remain as is even after TRF expiry. If any of the members have any idea if IRCC has changed any rules due to this pandemic please let me know so i can still keep my hopes high pertaining to receiving ITA or atleast a NOI from PNP.

Appreciated. :)

Thanks :)

Hi everybody and @legalfalcon. My CELPIP expiry is next month ( I got my Exam result on may 22, 2019 and 2 years validity). I am going to submit my Express entry application ( i got ITA in Feb, 2021) by this month end. I wanted to check if my CELPIP will still be valid or do I have to take the exam again?. Please let me know.

Secondly, if I have to take the exam again and if I do it before the expiry of my ITA, can i use the new CELPIP exam result or it has to be the same as what I had used when my EE profile was created?

Thanks in advance!

The day your submit your application, you test score has to be valid. If it expires post submission, that is not an issue.

If you take a exam again, you can submit your new score, and explain it in LoE. However, make sure that your CRS does not go down due to the new score and also submit the old score based on which you received the ITA.
