Oh how I wish this is the case. It is starting to feel like a distant dream
Ya but I see from different comments that even after visa approval they are saying that the visa office would contact you for further steps. Previously after the PPR you could immediately send passports to the visa office and get them back in 2 weeks but they have changed that. I remember 2 people from this thread got visa approval from New Delhi but I don’t know if they were contacted for next step.
Anyway at least we are getting some traction. Keep us posted if you get your PPR

I think the reason they changed the process is due to VFS offices closed in india no way we can submit our passports. Hence New Delhi mission will contact to explain us another way of sending passport to them.

Would you mind sharing where your father from is from? What VO is processing his application?

My parents went for their medicals today in Oman and the doctor advised them that he is referring them to a cardiologist since they have long history of diabetes although that is totally in control. He said he can submit the medicals without the referral to cardiologist but the medicals May come back asking for a cardiologist visit so it can save us time by ensuring he follows proper protocol. The doctor was very nice to them but is it normal or a money making gimmick.
Is a visit required for controlled diabetes and blood pressure ?

Hi guys, I really appreciate your help. My friend's mom want to apply for super visa, her child is a Canadian PR and currently present in Canada. Is it necessary for the child to have been present in Canada 2 out of 5 years? In other words if the child is in residency breach but not reported and in Canada, can her mother apply for super visa? Any chance she gets in trouble? Or do they have to wait for 2 years?

Hello everyone,
I would appreciate if anyone can please tell if we can apply for supervisa for a parent from Canada? Or do we need to apply only from the country of his/her residence? Thanks

Applying for super visa has to do with meeting the eligibility on LICO which can only be proved through your NOA. You need to file taxes for last year and your income should be more than the LICO required depending on the size of the family. If your friend does not live permayand does not have a permanent job it would not be possible to apply for super visa
