Are you applying for undergraduate or graduate ???

STUDY VISA LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS :

For undergraduate program
IELTS score should be 6 overall no bands less than 5.5 each.

For graduate program
IELTS score should be 6.5 overall no bands less than 6 each.

Though college gives you admission for graduate program under 6 bands overall , your visa can be rejected.

Hi all,

I am planning to study in Canada LLM(Masters) or any Law related Graduate program. I have done my Bachelors in Engineering in 2004 and i have 11 years of Work exp into Software. I resigned my job and joined LLB (Bachelors) in India. Now i am in Final year. Do i have any chance to get student visa for doing LLM or any law related graduate program. or only MBA will be suitable. Is there any mismatch of course. Please advice as this has great impact on my career.

regards
Vijay

Since you are an engineer & have already done Masters having 11 years of Experience, I think you must go for another masters degree program. or Express entry program.

Hi Shirley Jane,

I don't have masters. I am planning to do it in Canada. As i have 17 years study gap after completed Bachelors, i fear that it might get difficult to get Student visa. so i have joined Bachelors in Law in India and now currently i am in final year. So, if i apply for student visa next year for Masters in Laws,Visa Officer might consider my application as i have recent years of education and give visa.
By the way i have applied for SINP OID in FEB 2020. But my score is only 63. So i am planning to study Law Masters or Any Post Graduate Law program. Plz guide me to know wheather to opt Masters in Law or MBA.

Regards

Hi Vijay

So to choose between Masters in Law or MBA. Its better to opt related to your bachelors degree, i.e, Masters in Law.
