Hello, I am new to this website. I sent in my husbands application in December of 2019. I know times are crazy right now with COVID-19, but has anyone heard anything. Or received any good news?

Hi, How long it took for you to get the GCMS note, I have applied it on 15.Jun, it is more than a month now. No response on GCMS notes. I have got a temporary reference number confirmation while I applied. Is there any way to track or check the status of the GCMS notes...please someone support.

Just keep waiting, they are taking their time to do anything, making taxpayer's life miserable every day.

It has always been exactly 1 month or less. Lately, it only takes about 3 weeks for me to receive the GCMS notes

It killing every passing day. No one knows what they will do after second wave. More wait
If you are in Canada, I would say, talk to your local MPs and raise your voice to issue Temporary resident Visa for Outland Spousal applicants. If parents can have a super visa choice, temporary workers/students can bring their spouses on temporary open work permits, why not spouses of Permanent Residents/Citizens.

I was an international student at one point, my parents are in Canada on Super Visa and I'm ok to pay for insurance if that what it takes to bring my spouse here to live with us. At least there should be some option given to outland spouses applicants.

Hi! For background:
  • Husband has a TRV
  • File moved to Manila VO
  • Last update is medical passed (Feb 26)
  • Husband is employed in PH and is currently working from home
We're planning that he'll come here to Canada on TRV and still work for his company in PH. My questions are:
If he needs to do an interview, does he need to do it in Manila?
If he gets a passport request, is it supposed to be sent to Manila?
Do we need to update his mailing address?

I answered your Q's in the MNL thread.

Has anyone heard any news? I sent in my application December 2019, and it has been silent since April 2020. The progress bar in GCKEY shows its 58 percent completed and 4 months remaining. But how accurate is that? I know with what is going on in the world the process is a lot slower, but it is really starting to hit me. Especially not being able to travel and see my husband.
