Guys, I just received PAL. Got email notification and when I logged in, I see the Pre-Arrival Letter.
Question is -- My eligibility still shows that they are reviewing. What about others who received PAL?
the same, it shows as we are reviewing... but on the GCMS notes that I got, it says eligibility passed and it was on the same date on what I received PAL

Not really, I did note that when you hit the page and it gives you the too many users error, hitting refresh would just load the error page again. So I was just copying and pasting the original URL in repeatedly, I also was running a chrome extension ton refresh the page once I was in and seeing the under maintenance message.
thanks for sharing best practice. i suspect most of the guys who got in were inland, so they had leverage to hit server first..my wild guess

Don’t waste your money with lawyers unless you have a very difficult case. It’s just put documentation together, and they will charge you a lot!
Thanks for your comment. Please read my case in the few past comment and let me know if you have any comments

oh, my! Sorry about my confusion! There were many questions around the process these days from different people . I myself have never used a lawyer, but I know some in this group have. Maybe they can refer one to you.
I don’t have by all means complete knowledge of all the procedures, but I think that your profession is regulated and you would need a regulated body certification. One suggestion might be talking to your employer and change the title as so you can do it without a certificate.
Once you have all this figure out, move the process by yourself, as I said before, after this decision it’s just paperwork, and lawyers charge a lot.
That’s my humble opinion, I hope it helped a little.

This is what I did! @sina_msi As my job duties are several, I chose a NOC that did not need a certificate.

Hey team, two quick questions:
1) In profile registration I didn't see the field asking for middle name, noted that I'm unable to edit this field under the My Profile section so I sent a change request in and they sent it back to me with no real information or instruction on why it was rejected. Has anyone not filled their middle name in and still been fine?

2) For a job I'm claiming the 2 years experience for, I only have my first and last payslips and a letter from the employer - is this enough proof?

1- I don't know, I only have one name
2- Yes, that's ok. You can also send the Notice of Assessment of your taxes

Hello all,

I have a question about a section of employer guide.
In one part of this form mentioned that " You are not required to have a positive LMIA to apply to the OINP. However, if you do not have an LMIA for the exact position of the job offer, you will be required to demonstrate that you undertook reasonable recruitment efforts to fill the position with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. "

I got this job offer without any advertisement as my employer hear about me and talked to me to join their team when I worked in another company.
I have an open work permit and reside in Ontario, so do my employer still need to show the advertisement in my case?

Thanks

I am on an open work permit and got the job offer exactly as you. I didn't send LMIA and got approved.

Refer to the following information. You are ok because you have a valid work permit.
-----------------------------------------
Notice to employers supporting an application under this stream:

Employers must demonstrate that reasonable efforts were made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident prior to offering the position to the applicant, unless:
  • the applicant already has a valid work permit to work in Ontario, or
  • the employer has a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) for the position
