Move to India after ICT application submission & biometrics

Anyone knows what happens if you submit the ICT application, complete biometrics and then you move to india because your H1B extension was denied ? Will you be able to get the stamping done from India if the ICT application is approved after you exit from US ?

You should update your case via webform about your new permanent location if you haven’t already. You can include that you will be requesting stamping in India just to be extra clear. Yes you can have stamping done in India.

it should not be a issue,we just need the VAC centers in India to open for stamping

Thanks bro. I have completed my ICT biometrics yesterday. Going to submit RFE response for H1B extension this week. Was thinking of worst case scenarios.

In a similar situation, but with opt extension expired. Given the current circumstances, I am thinking it is better to move to India for now, and submit passport from there rather than waiting here without working.

Look at all options available for you, including the ones in neighboring states. I am near Philadelphia , and last week i did Biometric from New York Bronx ASC. Check in the mornings, you will see slots for same day afternoon.
