SINP vs APEGS ECA

Hello Friends,

My qualifications are B.E- Computer Science(4 years) + M.B.A(2 years).

WES didn't award me the Masters Equivalency for my MBA due to their policy change. They have evaluated my MBA as 1 year Post Graduate Diploma.

So, I sent my MBA to IQAS and fortunately they awarded the Masters Equivalency.

In this situation, I am applying for Saskatchewan PNP. My NOC code needs a license from APEGS. I came to know that APEGS accepts only WES and not IQAS ECA report.

As I have two ECA reports now, is it possible to furnish my WES ECA to APEGS to obtain license and for Saskatchewan PNP, can I submit my IQAS report to SINP to prove my Masters Equivalency? or is it mandatory that the same ECA that we provide for obtaining license should only be submitted to the SINP as well?

I contacted them directly but unable to get a proper response. They refer us to the FAQ page and I couldn't find any info pertaining this issue.

Helo, plz response, I have similar issue with my MS DEGREE. WES did not evaluate and I m thinking of eca from IQAS,as mu University listed there.

I am assuming you are registering EIT with APEGS, in that case, I don't think you need your MS degree, your bachelors is enough and if they think there are gabs in your education they will assign you technical exams.

Am not sure if APEGS in particular accepts IQAS evaluation, but most engineering regulators either have in house ECA ( in the case of PEO they don't accept WES, they need transcript form university directly and EGBC don't require WES but will accept if sent) or only accept WES course-by-course evaluation for the purpose of EIT application.

if you dont mind, what is your MS Degree specialization?

Thanks for ur response. Yes they assign three confirmatory exams without assigning any defeciency citing the reason that ur CV does not show 5 years practical engineering experience. Also told me to submit MS/PhD Degree, if any for waiver of exams
Now I am wondering what to do as I have done MS in Electrical Power and Energy system from UMT Lahore which was not listed in WED.

are you applying for P.Eng or EIT??? -- there is no experience requirement for EIT.
