Hi all, I received ITA in the beginning of July and the ITA letter says I need to submit application no later than October (which is 90 days). However, on the CA gov site, it says 60 days. And I see previous discussions people say 60 days is the max period. Which is correct?

90 days, this is a new temporary exception for all applications due to Covid 19 since late March. Good luck
Make sure you submit your application within 60 days of receiving your ITA even if you do not have all your required documents. In this case, you'll have to write a LOE and upload them in the placeholders for each of the missing documents. If you do this, your application would not be canceled for incompleteness.
You will have 90 days more to submit the missing documents. If after the 90 days, you still don't have the documents you'll be given more days - always inform IRCC though through web form that you're unable to get the documents before the 90 days are over.
There is a recent case in this forum of an applicant who thought he had 90 days to submit his application. After the 60 days passed, his application portal was closed and he was unable to submit. He has since created another EE profile and is waiting for ITA again.

I saw it in this forum but I'm not following that thread so I can't trace it.
Either way, I think it's better to be on the safer side and apply before the 60 days with a LOE for missing documents.
Just an update, I did not apply within the 60 days and I can still accept the ITA. 90 days is truly what we now have to accept an ITA.
It was never the case that you could submit your application after 90 days.
Ensure you submit your application before 60 days with all the requireddocuments. If you don't have all the required documents, write a LOE and put in the placeholder for each missing documents.
In this way, your application will not be cancelled as incomplete but will be put on hold for 90 days within which you'll be expected to provide the missing documents.
Does that mean i can still get ITA again using the same profile or do i have to open a fresh profile to stand a chance?

So you missed the deadline and didn’t complete the application, correct? If so you need to complete a new profile. Your old profile was removed after 90 days.
If you didn't complete your application before the deadline, you will be back in the EE pool. You don't need to create a new EE profile. There's a chance you'll get ITA again when you're back in the EE pool but this depends on your points and the subsequent draws points.
You don't need to create a new EE profile unless the old one has expired, it is usually valid for one year after creating it.
It you decide to create a new EE profile while the old one is still valid, your chances of getting ITA is lower as they could be a tiebreaking in the next or subsequent draws.
