PR Card Renewal Processing as of Jul-14 came down to 132 Days. Previously on Jul-7, it was increased to 299 from 287. Seems like CIC is processing something behind the scenes.

I don't trust the numbers anymore, similar to COVID cases being reported. One day its up, one day its down.
We will get it when we get it. This approach has normalised my blood pressure.

Ha! I am with you desrtrose416. I am now on day 134 of waiting and counting - I would probably have a fully fledged heart attack if I actually got my card! Be well!

By next week i am sure timelines will get to normal. i.e around 80-100 days max.
It might be the opposite as well. I strongly feel they are not processing anything. When people started raising this they just brought down the timelines.
I didn't see any post on any forum where someone has received an AOR in last few weeks.

Some people have actually received their PR cards.

The processing time really depends on what office is handling your file. I just received my PR card and it only took 2 weeks.

I am waiting for 3 years Jesus Christ. Got an approval in Feb & I am still waiting for the god damn card to be delivered. I wish IRCC didn't bottle neck themselves by having only one travel document for PRs.

Sorry to hear that. You should raise a webform to check the status.

The PR card is NOT a travel document.

And IRCC does have an alternative document which will allow PR's to board a flight (or other commercial transportation) coming to Canada, which unlike a PR card is in fact a "travel" document, and indeed it is called a "PR Travel Document."

Obviously, if you had a PR card renewal application in process for nearly three years before it was approved, your case has NOTHING to do with routine PR card application processing timelines.

May I ask why your renewal card took 3 years?
