Work Permit Extension

I’m an Foriegn worker. I have an open work permit after my study. I have been working as skill worker for more than 2 years in NOC class B. My employer tried providing me with LMIA but the application was rejected. Please can someone guide me on how I can extend my Work Permit.

Have you received a nomination from a province supporting your PR application? Or have you applied for PR under Express Entry, received ITA and submitted your full application? If not, then you need an LMIA from your employer to extend your work permit. There really isn't another way.

Why was the LMIA rejected? Maybe your employer can fix this issue and reapply?
