Thanks for your answer Sarab. The reason I am wondering about the police check is because it is written on the IRCC website:
"In very rare cases, we may accept both a letter of explanation and proof that shows you made your best effort to get a police certificate on time. "
So I was hoping, as I provided those proofs, that they could make an exception.
Regarding my current timeline, there's been a twist today: I received an email saying that the Biometrics Collection Letter was sent by error
Even though it was just after my medical was approved...and even though my application status shows "Requires your action" and the Biometrics shows "We need your fingerprints"... I have my appointment in a few hours for collecting those biometrics, not sure if I should really cancel. I think I am going to try it anyway.Anyone had the same issue ? Can I use the webform to ask what this is about, even though i am only 2 months after my AOR ?
Yeah. They request pcc from me also on 26 june and i uploaded on same day but then also status doesn’t change from “your action required” to submitted nor under additional document it says we are reviewing your upload document. I think pcc is mandatory for everyone even though they wrote on their website not necessarily needed.Thanks for your answer Sarab. If you got the email that you don’t need to give biometric and you appointment in few hours, i think you should go for it for safe side. Rest upto you because if you raise web form it will take 5 business days to reply, instead of that better to call them.
Yeah, I figured I might as well go for the biometrics, it shouldn't hurt. Maybe the VAC will be able to tell me more.
For the PCC, they didnt actually request it from me yet. So I am trying to get it in the meantime, in case they ask for it, but Spain is a Spain in the a** for this ^^ Also I heard that IRCC can directly get those PCC themselves from the countries directly, is that true ?
I can’t say about anything about other countries how ircc can get pcc from them but for my country, i have to provide them. So i attached upfront pcc from my country but i mis canadian one by mistake. So i sent them on 26 june.
Same thing for me but they asked me RCMP PCC too which i already update before with Indian PCC attached file(it was merged file). should i upload the RCMP PCC same again or need to do it again please suggest. thanks in advance
UPDATE: I checked my account online and I can see July 14 beside review of additional documents and the rest are exactly the same for my CEC application (AOR 30th May), do I need to worry about anything? Any suggestions from anyone?
What to do regarding my TRV applied on march 16, 2020? And BOWP applied on June 17, 2020. Still waiting for an update!
