If you apply for electronic good conduct certificate from Dubai police,, do you print the electronic one and send it along the citizenship application as the original document ?
Or do you need to write a letter of explanation for that ? given that it can be verified online from Dubai Government portal.

Yes, the print out should be sufficient. I have not seen any issues highlighted by anyone in regards to the online certificate.

In terms of verification, that only work for 3 months online. After 3 months when you input the code it gives an error that the certificate has expired, but I am sure CIC verifies it through another way (as the application will only be opened 5-6months after you apply).

IRCC mention that it has to be doe within six months before application date... if they take another six months to start verifying it then i hope the verification works for them at thats time.

Dont worry about the vrification, IRCC is well equipped to detect fakes from legit ones, this is what they every single day, moreover they can always email Dubai police or UAE departments where certificates are issued through their channels,

just follow the instructions, it will be OK

I would let others comment also but IMO you should be able to use it if the certificate was issued after the last time when you were in the country. If not then you need a new certificate. The instructions for this are very clear and detailed and I would encourage you to review that in detail.

i believe its mentioned somewhere it should be maximum six month from date of application

Please refer to the original instructions. I have included the below from the original instructions on CiC website for citizenship.

"To be valid, the police certificate must be either issued

• after the last time you were in that country, or
• no more than 6 months before the date you sign your citizenship application

We may request a police certificate at any point during processing, even if you submitted a valid certificate with your application."
