Hello, @legalfalcon, I would appreciate your help with the following question—
Post ITA, when filling out the travel history in last 10 years, are the 10 years calculated as calendar years or 10 years since receiving ITA?(July 2020 in my case). I have travel history from January 2010 to May 2010 so just wanted to be sure if I should add that or not. Thank you for your time & assistance.

It asks for last 10 years, i.e. from the date you will be submitting your application.

The NOC code doesn't have to match exactly. What you need is to ensure that the job duties in your reference letter match substantially match the job duties of the NOC selected. It does not matter the designation or what the other stuff under the selected NOC is as long as your JDs match .

Hi @legalfalcon
I order my notes and I have : Eligibility and criminality passed, even security is passed

in the notes towards the end of GCMS file I see the following comment from the senior officer:
Crim entered, appears to be PPV

Do you know what it means ?

Did you apply for rehabilitation or have a PCC with any negative report.

not at all I never had any problem with any country I lived in
and also from the notes it appears that I have passed security even if it was hidden in first page

Edit:
I passed criminality on the same day the senior officer made that comment

Nothing to worry about then. It should have been ready for PRV, which is the PR visa.

hi @legalfalcon how are you?

I have questions:
1. I am here now in Malaysia and have a work visa here, what will i do to update my application? is there a way that I can informed CIC that I am here in
Malaysia now for work? are there any documents needed?
2. which visa office is responsible for processing the PR application in Malaysia (once the application update has been done), is it Kuala Lumpur Office or Singapore office?

Thank you very much, and stay safe :)

HI @legalfalcon, thanks for the great work you are doing.

I have a couple of questions regarding my AOR 26th Jan 2020 PR application.

Ordered GCMS notes in early June and

Eligibility - Review Required

'UNABLE TO CONFIRM NOC'

'UNABLE to CONFIRM FOREIGN WORK EXPERIENCE - APPEARS CRS NOT MET'

The notes also mention that the verified CRS score is less than the CRS score at the application.

The above notes are regarding my research assistant job back at the University. Also, the officer mentioned that my letter from the employer mentioned that I was an RA/TA but my NOC Code specifies something else.

In response, I have sent an updated letter from my employer revising a few points and attached an LOE stating why I chose this specific NOC code and not that of an RA/TA. Also, I observed that there were minor points on my funding fixed deposits (their expiry and maturity amount) and my employer's address not matching to that of the website. I have sent updated letters also providing updates and the missing details as mentioned in the notes.

Considering my above situation, I am skeptical about the outcome and was wondering if I should retain my application or withdraw now and get into the pool again.

Many thanks and Cheers.

Since I am not privy to you documents, so cannot comment on the substance.

If you have submitted the documents, then I do not see a need for you to withdraw the application. If you doubt that your application may be rejected, then you can create a new profile and enter the pool and let your current application be in progress until a decision on it is made.

If the decision is in your favour, then you can delete your profile, if not, then you can use your profile to file a new application.

Thanks for the reply!! Is there a channel through which I can contact you in person? Of course, would be glad to pay for your time :)

Also, I understand that until my current application is completed in terms of the decision, a new application would not be considered. Is that true or I can get directly get into the pool?

If you are a part of the getgcms team, I got my notes from there :) just FYI.
