I just checked out the feb 2020 aor forums and a few applicants in the last week of Feb have received their COPRs. I wonder what priority IRCC uses or maybe it's just random.

Maybe they are inland applicants. :/

Its frustrating me a ton as well. I am also inland CEC with all passed/valid and my AOR is 19 Dec. Been a month since my 6 month processing time is up, and yet we see Jan and Feb AORs getting their CoPR. Seems like there is zero clarity as to how they are prioritizing these applications.
There are even November 2019 inland CEC still waiting for decisions.

If I am not wrong, there are many inland applicants like myself where all the checks are complete and waiting for COPR. I totally understand if the applicant was outland and there was a delay but it's so random... all we can do is wait patiently :).

I can understand your situation, we are all in the same boat. Did you try to reach out to the IRCC agents? If yes, did they have anything more to add apart from the general response?

hi all, I'm a bit confused. I have received two webform responses from IRCC, both of which have said that my eligibility and security, criminality, and background verification are valid. However, when I read the GCMS notes I just received, the security portion is blank (the others read as being passed) but the most recent note (dated May 21) says: "Application appears ready for approval". Should I not worry about the blank security section?

also, I was hoping for guidance on work permits. I am FSW-O but recently crossed into Canada to be with my Canadian spouse. Technically I am visiting for 6 months but I have no visitor visa...I just crossed with my US passport. Can I apply for the work permit inland even though I am just visiting?

edit: I realized the stamp in my passport is my visitor visa :) my bad

It will always stay blank. Not sure about the work permit. Unless you have a job offer, it would be very difficult.

Hello all members...
My profile is as given below.

AOR 28th Jan 2020.
MEP 12th Feb 2020.
Biometrics enrolled 13th Feb 2020.

I didn't get any GU until today. After reading your comments on this forum, I, too, got curious and decided to raise a webform in order to get information about my application. So, I raised a webform on the 08th of June 2020. The response from the IRCC agent for my webform was as given below...

Eligibility: The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
The security background verification has not been initiated.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

I applied GCMS notes on the same day after receiving the response for my webform to get in-depth knowledge of my application process so that i may take necessary steps if required. I have not received my GCMS notes until today.

I raised a webform again on the 29th of June 2020, and i got the following responce from the IRCC agent today.

Eligibility: The responsible office reviewed the application and documents submitted and determined that you meet the Eligibility Requirements under the class of immigration for which you have applied.
The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

It seems to me, from my latest webform response, that everything in my case has been passed and merely final decision/PPR email is pending.

But, i have two question.
Why did the officer mention in the last webform response that Your application is still being processed at the case processing centre in Ottawa, Ontario?
Is there something to be worried about?

I wish that all those who have applied for PR may get the golden email soon.

Mine is exactly the same, I raised the webform last week and just got the reply today.
The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.
While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the/your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We can confirm that your application is currently at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario for processing.

Up-ing the question, do we have something to worried abt because it says 'processing'?

If Security screening is passed then you are all set, web form messages have variability in how they are worded and are not the most reliable when compared to GCMS notes. Security is the last step before a decision and if it's in the clear then all is good.
