Hey guys, I’m currently going through the process of getting my PRTD in australia. Once I get it, what would be the best route of getting back to Canada due to COVID-19, since the PRTD only lasts a certain amount of time? Thanks!
Your question isn't entirely clear. If the PRTD is approved, then you can purchase a flight ticket and fly to Canada.Hey guys, I’m currently going through the process of getting my PRTD in australia. PRs are still allowed to enter Canada.Even during the travel ban?
Oh awesome that’s all I needed to know. Also, do you know approximately how long it takes to obtain the PRTD once you lodge the application?PRs are still allowed to enter Canada.
You left out one important piece of information in your postOh awesome that’s all I needed to know. Also, do you know approximately how long it takes to obtain the PRTD once you lodge the application?
what do you mean by that? You left out one important piece of information in your post
You’re not compliant in your RO
Exactly what it sayswhat do you mean by that?
okay I see, are you asking what my RO situation is? Because if so, I meet all the Resident Obligations. I’m just asking approximately how long it would take after applying to receive the PRTD.Exactly what it says
You’re asking how long it’ll take . Not meeting RO can lengthen the time of processing
You left that out
Still isn’t clear that OP has lived with his stepfather continuously but would a 22 year old stepchild be able to count time living with a Canadian stepfather abroad towards RO? Was unclear to me whether the age would make a difference and whether being a stepchild would make a difference. My inclination is it would but it is a rare situation so would like to hear your thoughts or @canuck_in_ukYour question isn't entirely clear.
