Phone Call Inquiry Dec 11, 2019 Criminal Pass

I would only suggest you all to keep your hopes high, and for now since the COVID-19 is there wait for a while, once this crazy season is over apply for your GCMS notes and try to read them, they are the best source to understand why was your case hold up and if you find any single doubt or issue in it, try to address it before the decision is made by sending or updating your documents to justify your case from the web portal. Furthermore try to visit your local MP if you are in Canada and keep bugging them at least once a month and try to make them speak a little more than just "it's in progress" as usually they get more inside information than what an CIC agent will tell you over the phone.

Good luck

There are 3 options to do so,
1. is through filling a legal case for review by hiring a lawyer
2. is to challenge the decision on CIC web portal
3. Is through your local MP

Please note, that whatever option you chose you may not submit a new document at the time of challenging, it is just a letter that can explain how the decision was wrong and it shall be reviewed entirely based on the previous submissions.

Whatever the case, you must prove in your letter based on your previous submission that the decision was wrong and that the officer did not review your submission properly.

Received PR confirmation email finally. Due to Covid, Inland landing appointments are cancelled, and PRs are being confirmed by email.
AOR: May 2018. My application was put 'on hold' from Nov 2018.
Reason may be that after gaining enough points, I was not working in same NOC as I had applied in anymore. I was working in NOC C level. Or it may be due to Security screening OR both. Cannot know for sure. My local MP helped a lot by follow-ups.

Timeline:
Applicant: Express Entry - FSW Inland.
AOR: May 2018
Application put 'On Hold': since Nov 2018.
Remed request: 31-Jan-2020
Schedule A request 1: 31-Jan-2020
Schedule A request 2: 19-Feb-2020
Landing appointment email: 6-Mar-2020.
Appointment date: 27-Mar-2020. Got cancelled later due to Covid.
PR confirmation email: 22-May, 2020.

Still waiting "Background Security Check" since March 2018. Anybody else :)?
I reached the point of no care, but I am just curious to know if I am the 0.1% file that is still pending

At least you're on background check! I've been the same since March 2018. I don't even care any more too!

Don't stress too much about it is the way to go !
Just stay safe, enjoy whatever you are doing, have fun with your family.

I wasn't caring too much before COVID19, and now I am super not stressing about it
Again, thanks for your responses guys :)
