ifound construction and management program at UBC but its for 1 year i guess. I am looking for a 2 year program.

IRCC suspended the processing in May. How they can get visa in May?

Hi guys hope you are doing well
So I applied for study permit under sds on July 1. I got the latter for biometrics tomorrow.
I am applying for undergrad for BSCS
Paid the the GIC
Paid the first year fee
Given the proof of funds 100 million
No relative in Canada
Session going to start in sep
So I need your suggestion what are my chances of getting approved and how long will it take to process my sds application usually it is 21 days but these are different times. Thank you in advance

Hi so I want to share my timeline and my experience with Scotiabank yes I am from Pak so initially I wanted to go in May but because of covid I deferred to September.
I submitted my GIC in Scotiabank at the end of June it took 8 days to process but they returned bcz of some address error return of money took another week, submitted again. again returned bcz of some petty issue. Then I made a new account in CIBC submitted my GIC in Pakistan around 11am on 28 June and received my latter at 10:30pm on the same day I highly recommend using CIBC for GIC Scotiabank wasted a whole month. And guys one more thing no 5% tax. Your banks are frauding you. This money is for your own personal use going in your personal account it is now way connected with your studies make that clear with banks here in pak when sending money.

Should ask IRCC about that. I applied under SDS on 14th feb, bio on 17th and medical got cleared on 21st. No updates after that

I have seen some Bangladeshi students on other forums who got response from IRCC regarding their decision through webform.
They told that you are 'approved' and will send official ppr when VFS will open
You should also send webform regarding your decision

Couple of families I know who got visa in last session. So chances are good.

Myself applying with family and one of my friend also going for PhD with family.


You will have more chances if you go with SDS.
