I waited for so long and started to think something might go very wrong, and it would be ages till I got an ITA. But I still remained positive. Never give up hope friend.

I am at 465, my birthday is on 16th July.

I will turn 30, my score will drop to 460.

I am sooo glad that this happened. 3rd draw from this one we will see 460s cut off based on my extrapolated guess. I am on 466

Does anyone know if it's a good idea, if I get an ITA, to go and get updated proof of funds and proof of employment letters? I can get them tomorrow, and then they will have the most recent possible date on them. Otherwise they will be dated sometime in March, which is when I got them originally.

Absolutely! As soon as I can after I get an ITA! I will have to go and get renewed ones tomorrow from the bank and my employer, just to be safe, I think, no? Just to have the dates be as recent as they can for IRCC?

Have you obtained PCC from SA police? You should do that as fast as you can. It took some weeks to get mine

I will advice you get new proof of funds
For proof of employment, you don’t need a new one , just make sure the date of employment and every other dates are indicated in your documents.

I think u can get mew letter if ur still employ ed there, otherwise old one would be well and good, cuase exp.letter does not have any expiry. Regardless, if u can get updated, do it, why not. Also dont rush to submit docs next day, check few times before submission as u may commit silly silly mistakes due to adreanalin rush....

460 is still good score. First 2-3 draw will clear the backlogs. And I am very optimistic that score will go down after few draws.
