I am a Canadian PR living in Canada for the last 3 years. My fiance had applied for PR as single in Nov,2019 and received her COPR in May,2020. But we got married in Feb,2020 and did not declare it in her application. What should I do now?
My file? I'm already a PR- do I need to go through a medical/background check process?Your now wife needs to inform IRCC of the marriage before she lands. She should have done this in February or March.
They will need to process your file and add you to her COPR. This used to take a few months, pre-COVID.
Can we get our marriage registered in Canada after she lands in Canada to avoid this delay?Your now wife needs to inform IRCC of the marriage before she lands. She should have done this in February or March.

No you are already married even if it wasn’t registered in Canada. It shouldn’t create huge delays but she needs to tell CIC that she is married before she lands. Can we get our marriage registered in Canada after she lands in Canada to avoid this delay?
Absolutely, 100% not. If she lands without adding you to the COPR you are banned from being sponsored or added to her COPR.Can we get our marriage registered in Canada after she lands in Canada to avoid this delay?
Will the points be re-calculated in the application? No one knows the processing time. It used to be a few weeks to a few months.
Provided that you haven't landed yet, you just ask them to add your spouse. If you are asked why you didn't add her in February, you may need to explain why.
