Ladies and Gentlemen of this forum- it'd be great if you could kindly advise me whether anyone has successfully sponsored their parents when either had cancer?

In my specific case- my dad was diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer 10+ yrs ago. He's all fine now though he has regular checkups and occasional injections to control his PSA levels.

Also, specific pointers that may help my sponsorship case would be highly appreciated. Planning to sponsor them next year. Thank you!

You can go ahead. My father got diagnosed prostate cancer in the middle of PR processing and he is under treatment at present. He got his PR approved last year.

Should be fine. If he is still receiving some sort of injection to control his PSA levels it sounds like he still has prostate cancer. Now many prostate cancers are just watched and not aggressively treated.
