Any disadvantages if you had ever been ordered to leave another country due to overstaying?

Hi, I'm finalizing my application, and one of my husband's statutory questions got an issue.

Question: Has he ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or other country?

Yes. He overstayed about 5 months in Australia, past his limit of 1-year work permit back in 2013, and he was ordered to leave the country. So he left.
FYI, He's not a primary applicant.

Would this be a disadvantage for my application? Would this be a reason for them to refuse my PR application?

Nope but not disclosing it would for sure give them a reason to either send you a PFL or refuse on account of misrepresentation.

You just have to be honest about it and it won’t impact your application. Respond yes to both statutory questions and give an explanation.
