Spouse name in passport

Good day
It would be very helpful if you could help us out.
Due to Covid-19 lockdown passport office again closed in my Country. They are not taking any passport for re-issue and updating information. Is it going to be an issue start processing for EE without updating our passport (Marital Status and present address)? Or we should wait.

We are already done with IELTS (got the required result) and ECA (Masters degree counted). We got married january2020. We couldn't update our passport.
Now we are confused what to do because in my wife's passport her ex husband's name is written and in mine marital status single. Also our present address is different.
CAN WE APPLY WITH THIS PASSPORT WITH AN EXPLANATION LETTER AND ALL DOCUMENTS (her divorce certificate and our marriage certificate).

Its really confusing. If i get proper feedback to these queries they will be of a lot of help to me. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

Since this is a case of a Divorce, I think its best to amend the documents and then apply.. What is your CRS score? If it is 470+ I think wait it out!!

My CRS score 463. Our ielts results are valid before jan2021. What you suggest to do?!

463 in FSW will take a while, no one knows if the scores will ever dip below 470 this year or before jan 2021. So no worries sit in the pool until the documents get updated. Once you have the passport amended make a new profile..
