To answer your first question. In my opinion you just need to send your master degree and trancript (attested coloured copies in a sealed envelope by HEC) to CES toronto. Having said that, y would you want to send your bachelors degree when it is only of 2 years. I have a 4 years bsc hons degree and i am not sending it because it is NOT REQUIRED. Then y would u want to take a risk of sending ur bachelors degree when u only have a 2 years degree. Please dont listen to stupid consultants, they are just intetsted in ur money.

Now lets come to CES response on covid situation

They have asked candidates who have their applications in line from Dec, Jan till 15th Feb to ask their universities to send an online confirmation for their degree verification process. Btw their physical transcripts have already reached their office and confirmed by CES. As far as applications after that, the department hasnt started the process technically because the second part of the process is confirmation of receiving of physical copies and that will only be proceeded once they acknowledge the receipt. For that purpose they have asked students to send their copies via courier which will be collected at their main gate and will be handed over to CES department when it opens, probably in July. Now it is upto you to send them through whichever courier you decide. Fyi, I also have my sealed envelope lying with me as I am waiting for Pakistan post service to start deliveries and once they do, probably 1st July, I will send my sealed envelope. You can send it through Fedex aswell, but it will charge alot more and at the end of the day they will be lying at the main gate so there is no point of sending them through fast courier and mind you, at this rate we will probably get our evaluation delayed as far as December :(
I talked to 2 different consultants today and now I actually want to bang my head against the wall:(. One of them told me not to send the bachelor's degree. While the other one told me to send both and that to IQAS instead of CES. The was of the opinion that if I receive ITA and the immigration officer upon reviewing my ECA from IQAS is skeptical of it, he will ask for bachelor's degree assessment as well. Which would take additional time if we haven't done it before hand.
As per your knowledge and research, do we need to mention ECA reference only for the highest degree in EE system or it should be for bachelor's as well.

After paying the fee to CES/IQAS, we get a reference/application number. Can you please shed some light as to where we have to mention that number, on the colored copy of the transcript and degree (before handing it over to HEC / with pencil or pen) or on the sealed envelope after receiving it from HEC?

Do you also hold MBA degree or MSc and what was its duration/credit hrs?

To answer your first question, it is bettervto send your degrees for evaluation to CES instead of IQAS because IQAS takes much longer to evaluate than CES. Secondly, I ha e seen some Indian folks getting an MBA evaluation from IQAS as well but I am not sure whether they had a 2yr bachelors or 4 yrs.
As far as sending documents to HEC it is better to write your reference number on degree and transcript aswell, but I didnt bother to mention it there, instead when i got back my sealed envelope I simply wrote all the details on it.

As far as mentioning of ECA number, it is upto you to add whichever degree you like but they have space for all of them with individual reference nu,ber for all degrees. Incase of WES you would obv write the same in all the boxes but in our case we will mention the CES number in front of MBA evaliation. If it is your first time and u have only evaluated ur masters degree than only write that. Remember they only require ur highest degree.

I hope I have answered all ur quesries. In my POV just go with Masters degree evaluation from CES and stop worrying. Incase you need further help call me on my number +92302 4446685

Dear All,

Has anyone received any updates from CES regarding their ECA. My assessment is stuck at stage 3 i.e. initial review is complete since past 3 weeks. I have tried to call them and submit a ticket. But have not heard anything yet.

They are still working remotely, why administrative department is working remotely where they dont have to deal with general public walk in
but WES is processing the applications by accessing the physical documents as well with some delays i guess.
start giving reviews on the ces website, i have given mine today. so that they might take these into consideration and start processing.
this is my opinion, if you feel the same do it or any suggestions post here

During this pandemic,
1-is it necessary to send sealed envelope to CES or
2-they will evaluate the same credentials through attached attested degrees and transcripts from ces profile?

Well they have said not to send the sealed envelope but to open it and upload documents on AP-0007 CES MISSING DOCUMENTS LINK, but the catch here i that the link is not availalble on on our application portal and will be sent by them. Now I have emailed to send it but no response whatsoever. They are so lazy IMO. I mean how difficult can it be to verify documents. I think they have made this process so lengthy on purpose. In my opinion it should not take more than a month from start till end and, I am being generous here in order to count for receiving of international mail time. They are very lazy and this work from home is a shitty excuse to not work at all.

Brother. Why to upload the credentials on missing docs section? When you make a profile then docs already get attached and submitted, they can verify your docs from there. Or am i saying wrong? Please guide? Should I send the docs through DHL?

Hi All,

I have gone through the entire forum and im still not quite clear as to the points awarded for foreign Law LLB by CES. Can anyone be kind enough to confirm if they had used CES for evaluation of their foreign Law degree and if this was classified as Professional/Masters please? :-(
Hi, my advice is that if you're considering to evaluate through CES, do not undergo same. I had my wife's LLB degree evaluated by CES and the report was given as Four Years Bachelor's Degree. I have emailed them explaining to them that a law degree is considered as a professional degree even on the CIC website and i am yet to receive a response from them.

The reason why i went with CES evaluation was because i met an individual from Brazil who evaluated his law degree with CES and same was evaluated as a professional degree required to practice in a license profession. I was hoping that this would also be the case, but it turned out worse. It appears that this agencies have biased report for certain countries, because how can a degree from Brazil for law and that from Nigeria for law be classified differently.

It appears you dropped this message since January, so i hope you've not started the process yet. All the best.
