A student may want to travel urgently if she gets admission for fall 2020.She just wrote in her cover letter that she wants to join fall 2020 semester and no tickets were sumitted by her.

How many family members do you have that have been removed as a minor but all seem to be able to return to attend university and pay domestic tuition? Did their family stay for a few months also? This loophole needs to be closed unless children have spent years in schooling in Canada.

There may be your friends, friends of friends or your distant or close relatives. There are ao many people around, even in this forum. So what if they want to get into the university for domestic fee. They will ,no doubt , contribute to the Canadian economy one day.Govts do have plans so they give chance to younger generation. Even so many international students are adding to the Canadian economy. So Why should canadian govt always deny such visas. Moreover, she lived and studied there for more than 2 years.

Your daughter is essentially the same as any other international student. Based on your previous posts you/she spent 5 months in Canada when she was very young. Domestic tuition is significantly less than international tuition because parents have been paying high taxes for years-decades. If the child has not come from a family who has never contributed to the tax base then they are no different than an international student and shouldn’t benefit for domestic fees.

Yes dear ! She left Canada as a minor. She sent the application form alongwith scanned documents and fee receipt through email.passport is not required to be sent. just its scanned copies. They replied within a week that prtd has been approved and if having urgent plans to travel, they may contact them.
Hi..did she send the ticket copies as well when she applied for the PRTD by email?

Hello, I have a few doubts with filling the PRTD via email because the VFS is closed. Any help is appreciated :)

1. Photos - Do we have to stick the photo on to the application in the top right corner in the "Space reserved for applicant's photo" section OR do we have to send scanned copies of photos separately OR do BOTH?

2. The website says we need to answer every question and not skip any section. The following questions are not applicable to me. In this case, should I leave it blank or fill N/A?
A. "Other names" [Question number 1]
B. "Your mailing address outside Canada (if different from above)" with address, city, state options [QUESTION NUMBER 12.C]
C. "Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds" [Question number 19]

3. Should we fill the "Date of receipt stamp at post" on top right corner?

4. For question #14 on Activities & Employment, what should I fill in the "to" date? I'm still working. So should I fill "Present" or "today's date"?

5. For question #15 - List all periods you spent in Canada during the past five (5) years. If you became a permanent resident less than five (5) years ago: list time spent in Canada from the time you became a permanent resident to present
. - I landed on 28th Aug 2018, got my PR approved and immediately returned back the same day. In this case, should I fill this up as 1 day?

Thanks in advance!

hi Folks...I see that they are asking for tickets if you want to travel urgently. is it necessary that the date of travel should be within 30 days from the approval of our application or can it be let's say 50 days but we have to submit the ticket within 30 days? TIA

Hello everyone, I also applied for PRTD via email just now (July/1/2020). I'm in the US and all VACs are closed.

Did any people living in the US get approved recently? Thanks!

Hello! I could really use some help filling up the PRTD application online.

1. Did you attach the photo on the PRTD application on the top right corner and then take a scanned copy of the application? Or did you send scanned copies of your photos separately?
2. For sections that are not applicable to you, did you leave them blank or fill it up with N/A
3. For the question on Employment outside Canada (question #14) - As I'm still working, should I fill the "to" date as today's date?
4. Should we fill the "Date of receipt stamp at post" on top right corner?

Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated..!

I applied for mine on the 6th of June, and haven't heard back. I submitted a word document with my itinerary instead of a flight ticket. I hope they get back to me soon.

5. Yes , you should fill up 1 day also( the dates).
2.You will not fill anything in ques 19th as you are not applying on H&C grounds. You still have roughly 3 years to complete residency obligations.
Other names are not required if you are not using anywhere in certificates or passport or have mentioned earlier in your pr file.
If your current address and mailing address are same , fill in the current address and write same in the mailing address or you can leave blank also. does not matter.
Other questions answered in the other thread

Hadn't you receive your pr card in 2018. Even if you had come back, they would have posted it at the canadian address mentioned by you. You could have got it mailed in post at your current address
