Applying for a Visitor Record

My Fiance is applying for his visitor record. His current visiting status runs out on August 10, 2020. We will be applying for PR on August 15, 2020 as we will have been continuously together for 12 months on August 14, 2020 and will be legal as common-law partners. We are stuck on a couple of questions on the application.

1) Details of visit to Canada: 2 - indicate how long you plan to stay in Canada (from - to) - should we put the day his visitor status runs out until 6 months after? (August 10, 2020 to February 9, 2021) or do they mean "from - to" of his current status which would be February 11, 2020 to August 10, 2020?

2) Background Information: 2c) Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? - We have entered that he applied for an ETA on his first trip here in May 2019 and then again when he went back to Ireland and had to apply for a new Passport. Would applying for a ETA pertain to this question?

"indicate how long you plan to stay in Canada" is future tense.
"Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?"
An application to enter Canada happens only at the Port of Entry so not the eTA application, but the actual entries to Canada.

Hi.

I hope you can help me too. This is kind of similar to my situation. I arrive in canada on NOV 5, 2020. Applied VISITOR RECORD for extension on April 5,2021. Got my approval valid only until NOV 5, 2021 (exact start day of cohabitation with my BF).
We are planning to submit our PR sponsorship as commom law partner on Nov 6, 2021.
My question:
My visitor record is expiring Nov. 5, 2021, can I apply another extention 1 month bfore it will expire (oct 2021) and then apply PR after november 5, 2021? (consider no result yet from my visitor record application)


Please anyone, if you have idea It's very much appreciated.
