The Physical Presence Calculator instructions say this: "Please only list the periods of time you had authorized temporary resident or protected person status in Canada and the type of status you had between yyyy-mm-dd and yyyy-mm-dd and select Add Entry". (emphasis mine)
Did you have temporary resident or protected person status between October 2016 to Feb 2017? If the answer is no, then that period of time should simply not be listed.
Thanks Melito , for sharing this . I have just posted another post , Can you check if i am on the right track '
"""""""""
Thank you for your guidance , really appreciate it . Just to rephrase i don't have to declare that "(Oct 2016 to Feb 2017)" period under as it had no legal status and under restrorative period of 90 days , but i can claim the period from "May 2015 until Oct 2016" , as i had Post Grad Work Permit . As the question reads as this
"*Did you have Canadian temporary resident status (i.e. as a visitor, international student, temporary worker, temporary resident permit holder), and/or were a protected person) between 2015-06-30 and 2017-05-10? "

I was of the view that i can claim the period between June 2015 to Oct 2016 as PGWP status , as my legal temporary resident status ended 18 Oct 2016. Hence , i would not claim the period from Oct 2016 to Feb 2017 .

Also if the PGWP is termed as temporary worker under the "TYPE" if you can confirm this also ?

Correct me please if i am right or wrong . Your help is really appreciated """""""

Post-Graduation Work Permit = Temporary Worker.

Yes.

Post-Graduation Work Permit = Temporary Worker.

Thank you so much Melito , you are great help . One more suggestion , if it doesnt bother much ." So , Since my orignal PGWP was supposed to ending on 4th July 2016 , but i had put an extension for PGWP which was refused on 18th Oct 2016 . So , Can i claim my period of temporary worker until 18 Oct 2016 , as technically i was under implied status and assume my post grad period time was there until it formally expired on 18th Oct 2016., and also if i have to write any explanation letter with my citizenship file ? Thanks in advance .

So as per your suggestion , this should be " NO" ?

Thanks a lot Das67 , Now , since i am traversing through my calculation . I stumbled upon this question . If you or Melito can both help in this

"Did you leave Canada between 2015-06-30 and 2020-06-30? Answer 'Yes' if you left Canada for any reason including vacation, work, business, family matters, school, illness, etc. "

Do i mention , my period of absence from "19th Feb 2017 to 10th May 2017", when i existed Canada , as i had no legal status ? As when i mention that time the calculation shows " 0 days absent " , for some reason it does not take account of these days . But being sure , i was thinking i should mention this time to them !

Yes, you should mention the period you left. It does show zero absence because during the period you left Canada you did not have legal status or I should say the period you left is not included in your legal status time. if you left Canada during the time you were legally here, the calculator will show the number of days of absence ( which should be the number of days you spent outside). But in your case during the time you spent outside you did not have a legal status here that is why the calculator is showing zero days of absence, as you cannot claim those days you spent in Canada with no status for citizenship.

Hi guys, got few questions to ask, just noticed that i had made some mistakes while filling my applications out, such as,
1. i had to provide details of addresses i lived on, so i just copied , and paste city names (erroneously) which makes 2 different addresses in same city( obviously i put the city name same,as for the other address). Technically speaking they were in 2 different cities.
2. I worked for a company in city ABC and while putting their address i copied their corporate address from ROE which was in Toronto.
3. I had only one passport issued which was issued within 5 years period, however It wasn’t covering whole 5 years it was covering 4y and 5m And I forgot to put explanation in (tableB) that why it’s not covering whole 5 years.

have already sent my application on June 10.

what you guys think of these errors/mistakes in application. Will they send applications back or ....

Yes, it is my understanding your temporary worker status expired October 18th 2016 since that's when your implied status expired. There are multiple already existing threads in this forum asking this question, and they all suggest the same. No, you don't have to write an explanation letter but you can if you want to.

Hi everyone
I have a question if anyone had similar issue or know anything about it. I applied for citizenship on june 14 through my representative. I was just going through the copy she send me and i found out that she made a spelling mistake in the city/town of birth . What should i do about it ? Do i just wait or is it going to be returned for that spelling mistake? If anyone know anything please reply
Thanks in advance

Hi guys , do you know how to withdraw application. And will they refund the fee in total? My understanding is , instead of waiting from them about the incomplete app should withdraw and resubmit it! Any advice on that!
