Hi Madam/Sir, Please could tell me what dimensions the 20-30 photos that prove our CL relationship should be?
Also, the letter from friends or family must be the original one or I can submit a photocopy/ scan copy or one with an electronic signature?
thank you very much in advance.

Firstly, best wishes to everyone who is waiting to be reunited with their spouses, hope you are able to bring them home sooner. I know the feeling, or at least can partly imagine it as I will be joining this boat soon.

My question is - is it possible to bring your spouse to Canada on visit visa and start the process here inland?

Background:
Im Canadian citizen. Soon to get married. She is in Pakistan.
Planning to travel in Xmas holidays and get married there.
Next -- I obviously want to bring her with me. Do they give visit visa to spouses of Canadian Citizens?
I have a full time job, never been on any assistance etc. - financially im fine.
I just dont want to wait another 12, 15, 18....etc months.

Once she is here on Visit Visa - can we start the immigration process?

What would you girls/guys suggest based on your experience?

thank you.
Another idea is to apply for a TRV as soon as the restrictions are lifted by IRCC due to covid. Right now they are only processing apps for very limited cases. If she has strong family ties, property etc in Pakistan and can demonstrate she will return there after a visit to Canada it might be approved. If you already have it before you get married then she could come to Canada after and you could do the inland process.

What did your lawyer say? My guess is if cic found that representative form had any missing information then they might needed. So that could be the only case or rare possibility is they have lost your representative form.

I don't think so it will turn into refusal.

hahaha !
Sorry if I laugh but yeah we had a lot of problem getting our passport request !! We are march 2018 and still no DM. But the lost form is not the reason why we wait so long. A big lak of effort from them ( by our GCMS note I saw that the agent working on our file open our files for the first time 17 after the deposit ), an agent really really picky ( did not believe in our relation , and did not believe us about the non accompaying child we had to submit proof for all that ) and our reprensentant that told us that ircc donc like pressure so we did NOTHING ( no call no webform no MP ) for 20 months. They completely forgot us for a complete year ( no communication between aug 2018 and aug 2019 ) and our reprensentant did nothing about that.
Even now that everything is complete ( we receive pre arrival may 21 ) , and agent told my husband eligibily is done, they put july 20th for due date and I don't think they will do us the honor of making a decision before that date
Worst, I am so desperate I think they are gonna pospone this date and just continue to be inhuman with us.
Mp reach them last week to explain cic that my husband work permit expire July 24 and that never we thought that we had to renew. He told them that it add more financial and psychologial stress to renew the work permit so close to the end of the process. The agent told him we cannot garantee that we will give an answer before july 24 so he have to renew.
I see a lot of people getting dm those day that are in a year of proccess or so.... it hurt so bad ( I'm happy for those people but believe me I'm crying now when I see that )

I wish all the people here never to live what we are experiencing right now

So sorry dear. Take my hug and console. I’ll pray for you. This too shall pass my dear. Stay strong. I really don’t know well about immigration process but if possible start with a new representative. The brightest day came after the darkest night. I pray that you’ll get your visa and your loved one soon. Don’t be sad my dear. It’s hurting me also. Take my love

Hi guys!
I have some questions about sponsoring my boyfriend. I am still applying to immigrate to Canada from EE-FSW approach, we plan to marry in Canada, then I apply for spouse immigration inland for him, Here are some questions:
1. As he already has American and Spanish passports, should he provide information about all his passports?
2. He plans to apply as an American, but he was born in Spain, should he provide his birth certificate and family booklet in Spain?
3. Is family booklet really necessary to show to IRCC? My boyfriend only his booklet in Spain, but he does not have such a document in USA, is that ok to only provide the Spanish one?
Many thanks for your help in advance!

1. Look at the forms, he'll be asked to put information about both citizenships.
2. Follow the instructions for his nationalities, yes and yes (I think).
3. USA to my knowledge has no such document, so the question is moot.

Note you will have to look (at instructions) to see about police certificates from which countries, will also depend on where he resides.
