I just spoke to my lawyer in Canada he clearly said, they are not working on paper based application in Sydney office, he said they might start on 21st july. Right now only can wait..

How did your lawyer know that?
however if they not start on 21st July, probably your lawyer would say they might start on 21st of August or something?

He said it's all depends on restrictions, they suppose to open on 21 june but they didn't so they extended till 21 july, so no one will receive AOR, MR , COPR anything in until end of next month.

21st of June is Sunday, how come they open on a Sunday? I think your lawyer said that just to satisfy you, so you can leave him alone.

To be honest, anyone saying that IRCC officers will back to offices is either guessing or just linking the two different news. Just like in the past, we linked the news of the opening of Nova Scotia to the re-open of Sydney office. There is NO ONE except the IRCC itself knows the reality.

Someone in the Whatsapp group with AOR of Oct 8, 2019, got MR yesterday. So it looks like they are working in a reduced capacity. Let's hope of good news in the coming weeks.

we'd better send them email and ask when they would restart to process paper cases. If don't ask, we will never know.

Hi guys,
I have not received AOR. AR on April 16th, 2020. I'll be eligible for Nova Scotia Experience Express Entry in this October, 2020.
Paper based PR is too slow and frustrated (up to 18-24months)

I'm thinking about withdrawing my application before they open it, to get a full refund. Then apply NSE: EE which is 6months length.
Any advice?
