My CRA - ERR 041, then ERR 062. New PR - new account?

Hey everyone.

I was previously on a 2 year working holiday visa from the UK. Became PR in Oct 2019. I haven't tried to log into my online CRA account since then and when I tried today with my current details, I was hit with ERR 041. After some Googling, it looks like I needed to create a new account since my SIN had changed. When I tried to create a new account with my new SIN, I received ERR 062 and was advised to contact the CRA.

Is this because I haven't filed a tax return under my new SIN? Any advice on what to do here? With the phone lines slammed, it looks like I'd need to write to the CRA about this.

I followed the below steps:
1. Create a new CRA account with the new SIN.
2. The account throws some errors, you may need to login again. It took me 24 hours to login into the new account.
3. Once you login, it asks a few personal details again.
4. You can request CRA security code by paper mail or call 1800-959-8281 to get the code by email. They will ask detailed question about you and your last tax return.
5. After verification, I got the email and was able to login and see all the details of previous returns. Seems like it is automatically linked to you previous SIN.

I tried this today. I didn't have any issues other than My Account has limited access until I receive the security code. I was able to see some information from the previous tax year though. So yes, it looks like everything was migrated from my old SIN.

I am trying to apply but everytime its saying that " Our records Indicates that you have previously used CRA my account for applying CRA benefits so you need to apply Canada Recovery Benefits by Logging into CRA My Account benefits service ),before I have applied through Service Canada account which is locked unfortunately.
I can get it unlocked but lasg time link between service canada my account and CRA my account was not working. And I am not sure why My CRA account is not working because I have already Applied 2018 and 2019 Tax return almost 4 weeks ago and now I have also received confirmation from CRA that my 2019 Tax return have been processed by CRA and updated. But when I called I was yold to wait for 2020 Tax return application starting on 22,February then apply it as soon as possible. Then I would be able to login CRA my account, that information provided by CRA my account and CRA tax enquiry service agent, looks like this information was not legit.I asked him but he refused that by saying that their is no other reason regarding my account and error code is ERR.041 When I put my SIN number after login my CRA account through GC key and Sign in Partners ( Doesn't matters).Got same error everytime after Typing SIN number when I successfully Login into CRA my account.
Is it working perfectly to apply Canada recovery Benefits these days from 1st,January,2021.
I am really in need to get my benefits,I didn't got my Canada recovery Benefits payments after End of November or starting of December Canada recovery Benefits Direct Deposit Payments that I used to apply through Phone service and CERB through My Service Canada My account and then CRA mu account to apply CERB ,but after I faxed enough paperwork to show that I am legally Eligible for CERB and oncoming CRB - CANADA RECOVERY BENEFITS through CRA.Then I applied CRB direct deposit payments by calling CRB phone service and right away within 5 business days used to get payments.
But not able to apply since end of December,2020.
Please help me regarding this issue that what should I do.
Have filed 2018 Tax return and 2019 Tax return Few weeks ago but not able to Login CRA my account that I need to login as soon as possible for applying CRB payments applications by login into CRAmy account .

Need help ?????????

Did you used previous CRA account user id and password or the new ones on step 2?

We have to choose a new ID. The password could be the same.
Just called and an agent said they cannot provide a security code via email.

When creating a new account with your new SIN, it asks some numbers in your last tax report. Notice that they are the numbers in your T1, not in the Notice of Assessment. NOA rounds numbers to the nearest integer, while T1 does not. Since it asks you to drop numbers after the decimal, if NOA rounds up the number, the NOA number will be $1 above the T1 one (after dropping numbers after the decimal).

I just did that last week. Didn't use paper mail or a phone call to CRA to create an account.
Just create account an account in CRA with the previous year's tax reports, so keep that handy. Instead of the code by mail or phone call to CRA, they have an Interac verification service: https://www.interac.ca/en/consumers/products/interac-verification-solutions/document-verification-service/
All you need is government issued identity document of Canada. Health cards are not allowed. I personally used provincial photo ID card and my spouse used driver's license. You get a QR code on that page and when you scan it with your phone, it will redirect you to the verification page and you'll have to provide "Camera" access to your browser.
After that it was just, taking the front and back of the card's photo with back camera and my selfie with the front camera.
The overall process took barely 30 seconds as the documents were handy and I was able to login instantly.

Hello, so for me. Before the update of SIN happened, I saw all my benefits due for September 2024, on the 10th and 13th and I opened the new account account today and it got linked, but I don’t see my benefits again, would I still get them on those days next week?
