All, I’m planning to prepare and apply for Canada Citizenship for myself and for my kid along together.. I got couple of questions.. Appreciate helpful info..

1. My kid lived about 6 months at a stretch back home however she crossed eligibility period. Question is do I need to still get PC from the place where she lived? She is 4 years.
2. Do our IeLts score eligible and valid to be used for applying?
3. For kids is there any extra docs required? Meaning as a parent do I need to submit any special docs?
4. Also any website shows all in and outs port entries list to calculate number of days.. I heard there is one for USA..

Thanks

Hi,
I filled an application for myself, my wife, and our 7 years old boy. for my boy, I used a french version of the application.
1. No, you do not, in the french version of the application for that question I choose NO NEED CHILD BELOW 14 YEARS OLD option.
2. I cannot answer this question, I used my engineering degree from back home in french and transcripts as proof of language. for your kid, she does not need to provide any proof of language as she is 4 years old.
3. follow the document checklist and provide all that apply to your child. You must provide her birth certificate showing your name as her father if she is your biological daughter.
4. I cannot answer other members may help you.

1. No PCC is required for children
2. Yes, if you have expired IELTS scores (the ones used for immigration and not the academic ones) they are acceptable as proof of language skills for citizenship.
3. No special documents but you need to show birth certificate or some other official document that shows your relationship to the child.
4. I think what you refer to is the CBSA entry and exit report. The US side also maintains a CBP report. You can request both (I don't know what the process for that is, you can probably google it).
