As he said, time zone difference is what's causing problems for him as he is in India atm.
If you can, try reaching out to CBSA by calling them. They are the ultimate authorities.
When I checked with airline if canada allows you we will not stop you from travelling is the answer from airline
I called them they are redirecting me to official website and agents are also telling if your exempt from travel according to official website you can travel
This is genuine reason I am not doing any normal degree where I can study and pass. This is professional MBA program
That's good to know Hoping for something positive. But FAQ by High Commission, New Delhi has caused so much uncertainty.

Yes Air india but don't know what happens through immigration , Air india offices doesn't have proper information they are just allowing everyone to book tickets
