An appeal will not change your situation like I explained, if you want to spend money spend it on an immigration lawyer for your next application.

The issue is like you said you have been an expat your whole life and they are looking for strong ties to home country which you don't have so its going to be an uphill battle.

I'm just starting out my life as a student, how can I show assets that tie me home? I've been basically living my whole life as an expat and recently came to the US for education, however I believe Canada is a better option because of several reasons. Canada simply has more opportunities and is more accepting. Is there anyway aside from assets I can increase my chances?
At this point, it will be difficult to apply for student visa as you already on student visa in neighboring country.
Your best bet is to apply for visit visa to Canada which should be easy to obtain.
You may find a girl in USA and get married you will receive a greencard in 2 years and free to come to Canada anytime.
And if you really obsessed with canada then finish your study in USA, come back to your home country and apply to canadian university for higher education.
Or simply just go to USA canada border and claim asylum.
I mean you have lots of options but again it depends how desperately you want to go to Canada.

I really prefer Canada over the US, could you tell me more about the border option?

How can he claim asylum when he just applied for a study permit with 50K in his bank. I don't think Canada Immigration will be that dumb

If you can't return to the US and you can't return to your home country, why would you expect the visa officer to believe your SOP
I can return to my home country and leave the US, but that will not guarantee a study permit for me. It can make me lose my visa in the US and not get a study permit, why would I do that?

Hi, I am currently living in Russia, the question is about current residence, it says: The dates (From – To) you have been living in your country or territory of residence.

1) "have been living", well, "to" should mean the date I submit, or the date my visa expires?

2) I also, have a question about high school diploma, should I attach it with university transcripts or not? since i still I have not finished my university degree.

3) Also, I have attached a document attesting I own a flat and my father sales, is it enough to attach documents or I need to talk about that in the letter of explanation?

4) Is the LOE addressed to my home country embassy or the embassy of residence country?
