I believe there is one outland applicant from Singapore in Feb 2020 AOR group whose application is also approved.
These are rare cases in these times!!
Can you give details of your
1) stream
2) CIC account status for eligibility, background, final decision
3) When did you receive such response/status
4) any other details that might be useful to analyse/anticipate for COPR/PPR

You are not wrong! Actually, it will help a lot if IRCC atleast conveys these kind of status to all whose applications await local VO to open, either through webform or account update so that applicant can relax and IRCC would be spared of innumerable webform queries, calls, GCMS notes

I've never understood why IRCC doesn't update your status properly on your online account. Clearly they are fine giving out that information in the webform response, so why not save us all some trouble? They have the application status in your online account as if they will give you real updates but instead they fill it with meaningless stuff.

In May, June 2020 Any outland applicant has received this status:
We are pleased to inform you that your permanent residence application has been approved.

Yes, I saw many folks got this in May/June for whom everything was passed but their cases were in Ottawa as they are all FSW-O. Even I have been trying to get this response from IRCC but so far a decision hasn't been made yet on my file. So when I called last they said they are still awaiting the final decision on my file. So I think we will get such a response from them only if 1) a senior officer marks Final Status/Decision: Approved on our file as per GCMS at least or 2) our file gets transferred from Sydney (Primary) to Ottawa (Secondary) from where we normally get PPR emails and final decision is made there.

yes, true... I was thinking same. IRCC shud update the account with every passing stage atleast this way we can see our status , else i dont find that account much useful other than watching the progress bar every day

Yes, I also feel the same way regarding the final decision. Hopefully, on 1st of July we all get our cherished document

Anyone else who received CoPR in their email asking to submit passport photography, I'd like to know if that is all that we will be doing to get our PR Card. Good News!!!
I got my COPR email today. Nov 24 AOR
CEC Inland - My account has not updated however I got COPR email now.
VO - Initially Edmonton and later moved to Ottawa. Asked to send photos to Etobicoke office.
Wish you all hear the good news soon. There are no GU I have ever seen in my account.

Congrats. Does that mean no appointment or send passport? Just photo and straight up PR Card?

Should I submit another set of GCMS notes with consent form?
