COVID19 and CERB

I am currently not working (but not laid off) due to lack of business from the Covid19 situation. I am receiving the CERB for now and I am glad n a closed work permit. My application for permanent residence is being processed under the Provincial nominee program.
Will my being unable to work effect my application in any way?
Will I be able to do a transition from my current permit to an open work permit, so I can work an additional job while keeping my current one just so I can make enough money to support myself and my family?
Any help or advice will be appreciated

What do you mean you are not laid off but you are not working? You would need to be laid off or still working but working less and making under 1K/month to qualify for CERB. No you don’t qualify for an open work permit.

I mean I am still an employee of the company but not working due to lack of business. Thank you for your help

So your company should have laid you off. When CRA does the verification to see if you are entitled to CERB you could be asked to provide ROE.
