You need to check it via WES Tool as the equivalency depends a lot on the institution. Usually it is equivalent to "Professional Degree".

Depends on the country and school, but most times it is. Send in your degree for assessment.

No professional course is equivalent to a professional course. Would warn you that there is a surplus of dentists in Canada that only keeps getting worse.

All you can do is submit and see what equivalency is. No one can tell you what will happen. Is she the primary applicant? What is CRS score with equivalency.
