Q 15 a – I only have photocopy of the old IELTS test report. I don't have the original. Will it work?

From the guide:
Step 3 – Gather your documents
Submit the following documents with your application:
Photocopies of your proof of English or French language ability.

Q 5 - I have never changed my name. Do I still need to fill this section.

This is from guide in the sticky thread pinned at the top of the Citizenship:

Q5: List all names that you have used, including name at birth, previously married name(s), alias(es) and nicknames.

• Whether you have a nickname / alias or not, everyone MUST answer this question with their name at birth.
• If you have used an alias / nickname or any other kind of name, then answer truthfully.

When in doubt, err on the side of caution. This question is probably meant in case you had a different name at birth, but I think it's a good idea to still add your birth name here.

Thank you so much for your reply. for the PR I have already renewed it back in June 2019 and my question was because I have already renewed it I would think that might make the processing of the nationality application faster cause they already did some checking on me lately.

Thank you you so much for explaining the second part of the question. I guess I will do that in the calculator as well as in the application form.

My apologies, I meant to say renewal of your PR card does not impact your application. I have edited my post.
As to whether the checks they have done on you then would help speed your application, I highly doubt it, but tbh I don't know.

The guide didn't specify the order in which to place the documents. I just placed them in the same order as they were listed on the checklist, and placed the checklist on top.

or. Separate them as person wise.

I am paying the fee altogether though.


In 4a - It is said to write the name exactly. The name typed there is in CAPS. Do I need to write the name in CAPS ?

If I was an agent, I think I would want to see each application separated. However I am applying for only one person so if those who have applied for 2 people or more want to chime in, feel free..

I just realized that my my old passport ( expiry date- april 4) and my new passport (date of issuance - may 5) has a gap of 30 days due to it was processed for roughly 12 weeks.

Can I just explain on the box provided on the application form that the reason of the small gap is due to the processing time of the renewal of my passport on the embassy?

or the gap is too small for me to bother?
