Guys lockdown will start tomorrow in Kurdistan at 6:00 pm until 6-June-2020 , due to the high number of corona cases in Sulimaniyah & Erbil .

Yes I heard about Kurdistan lockdown.Well everyone is going out and then don’t care and now they have man cases.Do you know amman visa office will open?why are they closed

The office is open, I recieved this email today. I emailed then last week to give me an update. See below.

I applied to sponsor my wife. She lives in Syria.
Application Received by Sydney on 2 July 2019.
Biometrics completed late September
medical Completed late December
Today I got the Invitation to Pre-Arrival Services Letter.
Do you know what this letter means? Has the application been approved? Or is it an Automated Letter?
Do you know when would the passport be requested after this?

Actually I don't have any idea about Amman Visa office , I hope they are working .

Well, as i heard the interview will be very quick and straight forward and thy will print the visa and give you COPR at the same day when you done the interview, good luck.

hello , hope you doing good , yes this letter mean you are approved in Canada and it will lead you to got passport request , but unfortunately it's hard to get it now due to the corona virus , I hope they send you passport request, I'm waiting to request my passport since ( 14-feb-2020 ) it took me waiting all this period due to the covid , maybe if everything returned as before , application will processed quickly .

Today is my one year marriage anniversary and my husband is not here in Canada with me. This is such a hard time, the thing is that I can't even go and visit him. Hopefully soon we will get updates

CIC website mentioned any passport request should be via mail or curious , they will not accept in person visit to drop off passports. so maybe they will send the PPR letter soon as they partially open now in amman

Guys , these emails are from immigration dept. in the embassy , they never stopped working they are working since february. you are mixing between the immigration dept and visa office . the visa office is till closed !
