Hi all, we're wondering if it's possible to preemptively get the medical exam done before we're prompted to do so. Our medicals expired in April. Feb 2019 applicant, covid delayed everything. Thanks for any advice

Medicals can be extended, so it is not advised.

Not only that but because of covid 19 they will most likely just extend it(takes longer for em to go over second medical etc and there wanna get caught up with I'mmgreation thing asap=
I didn't know I could extend the medical. Is it just an automatic thing or do I gotta pay something or fill a form? I hope we don't need another since we haven't left Canada in almost a year

Its entirely up to the I'mmgreation official over case to decide but I don't think an extension cost anything

You can't extend it. IRCC will decide whether to extend the medical.
