Definitely not.
I stayed at 469 for almost 3 months, and didn’t get an ITA.
Then I did the TCF, raised my score to 475 on March 12th, and the following draw was a PNP/CEC. Worst possible timing.

If we remain more 2-3 months with PNP/CEC, with all these high scoring FSW being accumulated in the pool week after week, no one below 475 will stand a chance for a long time.
Dont say that because its possible that most of the 470s are less than 475. We cant just assume that they are above 475. we dont have the breakdown of people in 471 to 480

5166 candidates with CRS greater than 471 as of now (after today's PNP) in pool. Big Yikes!
It was pretty much the same two weeks back so very little change.

As per the official CRS calculator, 6 points are lost at 31 years, not sure if that is correct or not.

Don't get discouraged, i still think there is a chance of a b2b draw, with the pool breakdown, a good chuck of people with the high scores would get cleared in 2 all program draws, and the cut-off score would drop somewhere into the 460s.

So, one thing is sure that there won't be a general draw this week otherwise CIC would have not conducted PNP only draw.

My prediction for the CEC draw (3515)
if it happens today: 441/+-1
28th or 29th May: 442/+-1

Guys, don't halt your prayers as I have seen so many PNP only draws which followed a gap of two weeks for the next draw.

Draws must continue to keep our hopes alive.

Good luck guys.

Same boat. I am a big4 Auditor in Nigeria. Lost 5 points from 471 to 466 in November. It's a waiting game since then
So, if the draws don't open this year by nov...you wil loose 5 more points ?
what is your NOC ?
We have chance in OINP I guess

Quite ridiculous to have 470s for fsw and 157 for pnp just because one of your relatives is already living in a province. What are you bringing to Canada.
Sorry if i dont undertsand the logic

Unfortunately not. OINP did a tech draw on May 13th and they invited only those who had work experience in Canada. i.e. CEC.

Many of these low scorers are 40+ people working at director and other managerial level positions which are super important IMO. I am guessing most of these positions has to be filled from outside of Canada if they are needed.

Checkout IELTS Liz on YouTube. She answers this question very well! I got a 9 in reading after three attempts!
I have just received the results of my third Ielts attempt. I got L9, R9, W7.5and S7.5

With my "experience", I can say that the hardest one is the writing, so I have read lots of sample answers. I suggest you to do the same

Can anyone give me some pointers on scoring 8.0-9.0 in reading section? It seems I always overthink the T/F/NG questions and bungle it up. @ZAtoCD ?
Hi

Choose not given if there's no mention of this information at all. True or false when it is explicitly stated in the passage and this can at times be tricky because of the subtle messages or nuances in the language e.g. with words like 'primarily' or phrases like 'day or night'. Also, as your reading, highlight / underline key points. Summarise each paragraph in your head as you move to the next.
