We kindly ask that you read the letter carefully and follow the instructions concerning obtaining your permanent residence card(s) as well as applying for other government services. Congratulations and we wish you every success in your future in Canada! Please note that if you have a MY-CIC online account you may receive this letter twice. *** IRCC-Etobicoke – Landings Unit***


It also includes an attachment which mentions my UCI number correctly. I have applied for express entry from inland Canada end of December 2019. I however doubt the legitamecy of this email as my wife who is a primary applicant has not received this email nor our application status has changed online.

Has anyone else also got such an email?

I am unable to believe it because it's so strange for two reasons:

1. My wife is the primary applicant and she's not received this email.
2. The application status online hasn't changed for the two of us.

Hi guys,
I am an outland applicant. Received a message for additional documents, requesting resubmit Schedule A cause I left some gaps for certain periods, which I definitely remember that I didn’t. So I have 2 questions: 1. Is it common that they request, because I will fill it the same way, I am not sure what to do.
2. Where should I get this Schedule A form. I found two forms on CIC website with the exact name but with slightly different layouts? I guess they are from different years.

I've heard that this can sometimes happen, where different people on an application get their approval email on different dates.

Do you mind sharing you stream, sponsoring province if there was one, and AOR?

I haven't received any update on my CIC account as well. I think we should wait for some time.
It is from a legitimate government email and it has a clear instructions to follow (Send your photo for PR Card)

Thank you!! That will be great. I am on a call with the agent. He's updated me that I am a Perm. Resident. He's verifying my wife's details now. YAYY!!
