When will the visa application center [VAC] resume service in India [VFS Global]?

Hello Aspirants,

My biometics is due for submission, but I am waiting for the VAC to be operational. Even though lock-down in India has been somewhat relaxed, VFS Global continues to stay closed. When will they resume services?

I spoke with the immigration team ... they also dont know when will it open ... my biometrics submission 90 days window is closing on June 20 ... do i again need to pay $85 ... but i never got a chance to submit my biometrics also ... IRCC website is also not giving a date ... does anyone has any information in this??

I think biometrics deadline has been extended indefinitely. Honestly you should care more about the timeline than 85 bucks

If it hasn’t opened so they can’t expect people to do their biometrics so it is a pretty logical conclusion that you will get an extension. It is a fluid situation so extensions are being given in smaller increments with further extensions if needed.

The same has been playing in my mind as well ... just wanted someone familiar with the process to concur too!! ... thanks for your advise ...
